It's Friday night and those nuts over at CBS have decided to shake things up on this, the final week of "Big Brother 6" by foregoing the usual Thursday and Saturday night episodes in favor of a special Friday live eviction episode. Julie Chen is back to oversee the proceedings as Ivette, Janelle and Maggie duke it out for the chance to be in the final two.

When we last left the estrogen brigade, they were balancing themselves on the rim of a giant safe dial, hanging on to keys, and hopping, skipping and jumping to keep up with the randomly rotating aparatus. It's the first leg of the last Head of Household competition and the winner not only moves onto last event in the three-part Head of Household competition, but also gets the combination to the last safe in the Goldmember room. According to Janelle, who is not a mother, this competition makes giving birth look like a piece of cake. She's the first to crumble under the pressure, falling off the dial and retreating indoors to give her throbbing shoulders a soak. Maggie and Ivette duke it out in the falling darkness. Ivette is positive Maggie will make it to the final two regardless and urges Maggie to give up. Soon, Maggie either steps or falls off the dial, leaving Ivette victorious.

On to round two. In this one, the "BB6" producers have decided that the "giant novelty lock" theme is a winner, and two huge padlocks are set up in the backyard. They have clues written on them whose answers correspond to numbers on the giant padlocks. Get the numbers right and the lock opens. This involves a lot of running around, sweating, the wearing of weightlifting gloves for some reason, and Maggie counting on her fingers. Evidently, she was not a math major. Let's hope she's getting those CCU counts in the ER correct. Janelle wins that round, meaning she'll go head-to-head with Ivette in the final HOH competition segment.

Upon entering the house again, Janelle nearly has a conniption when she sees that Big Brother has replaced the table they normally eat off of with Folgers Crystals. OK, no, but they have replaced it with a Plexiglas version with a cool half-a-mil in cold hard cash displayed within. Showing the most emotion she has since the game began, Janelle shrieks and practically licks the glass.

Been wondering what Ashlea, Michael, Eric, Sarah and Kaysar have been up to since getting booted out of the game and denied Jury House privileges? Neither have we, but unfortunately, the resulting segment that clues us in is rife with montages of Janelle and Michael making out. We had almost forgotten how cheesy he was. He's rooting for Janelle to win, natch. The dainty and delicate Ashlea has this to say to Michael, "If he breaks her heart, I'll break his face." She's rooting for Janelle, also. Kaysar, reveling in his newfound fame as a walk-on on "Young and the Restless" and looking more slicked-down than usual, thinks Ivette's got the game in the bag. Sarah blathers on about James but thinks Janelle will win. And then there's Cappy: while he thinks his former partner Maggie will take home the prize, he also mentions that, "I look at Ivette and ... it's like looking in the mirror." Not sure who comes out as the winner on that one.

Time for the "BB6" ABs contest. Oh, wait. It's a "Newlywed Game"-style Q&A hosted by Julie where the correct answer is either A or B and players must complete a sentence said by one of the prisoners in the Jury House. The game is tied and there's a tie-breaker. Then there's another that, to the astonishment of everyone, herself included, Ivette wins. She goes ballistic and grabs Maggie, prompting a very unfortunate display of the latter's plumber's crack for all to see. Janelle, knowing she's toast, gazes forlornly at the money under the table.

Sure enough, when Julie demands that Ivette make her eviction decision, it's Janelle who's heading out the door to greet the Chenerator. As she's leaving, Ivette softens the blow of losing with, "If there's a "Big Brother" All-Stars, I'm totally voting you in!" Yeah. That should make Janelle feel better about losing a half a million dollars.

Julie pops in for one last chat with the last two in the "BB6" house. Ivette is convinced that Maggie will walk off with the prize, and it would be shocking if she didn't, but Ivette seems content with her guaranteed $50K second place award. Maggie knows she'll win, too, but plays it cool.

Next time: It's the series finale! Tune in Tuesday to see a "BB6" house reunion and find out which Girl Scout gets a merit badge to the tune of $500,000.
